Britney Spears is in full-on mermaid mode in a recent Instagram post. She let her long, blonde hair loose while going topless in a poolside series, and all I have to say is wowza!

Britney gave fans a glimpse of her totally sculpted abs while posing in just a teeny, tiny, yellow bikini bottom.

The singer went with no caption for the post which I have to assume is for dramatic effect. (Sometimes saying nothing means everything!) Her fans, however, were not shy to compliment Brit's look in the comments.

"Serving The Little Mermaid 😮‍💨," one commented. "Beautiful goddess 💗," another wrote. One follower even confessed how they really feel: "Love youuuuu to the 🌙✨✨💖." The highest of praises!

To get her strong muscles, Britney is not afraid of a sweaty gym day. Earlier this week, the 40-year-old singer and dancer let fans in on her epic dance cardio workout.

"I’ve never sweat so much in my life 🎀🎀 !!!" she captioned the intense dancing video. Also, peep her mega-defined abs here, too!

When the "Toxic" singer isn't mastering her spins and body rolls, she's in the gym focusing on toning specific muscle groups. Here she is doing a weighted arm circuit with dumbbells to target her upper body.

Britney also gets active by spending time outdoors. Although it may not be her favorite exercise form, Britney often adds to her cardio routine by going for runs.

In a previous Instagram, she wrote, My abs only come out I guess when I run which I hate doing but somebody’s gotta do it." Well, that explains that chiseled core!

The celeb also hits the gym with her husband, Sam Asghari, who doubles as a personal trainer. The couple loves to train as a team and will even use the other as extra weight to increase the challenge of their workout. Total couple goals.
