One thing to note is that the Smrtft Nüobell adjustable dumbbell set features fewer weight options — 10 compared with NordicTrack’s 15 — though it has a 2-year warranty.

The closest competitor to the NordicTrack set is the Bowflex SelectTech 552 adjustable dumbbell set, as it offers a similar weight range and 15 weight options, yet the SelectTech 552 is significantly cheaper.

What’s more, the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells come with a 2-year warranty and include 5- and 7-pound (2.3- and 3.2-kg) weights, making them a better option for beginners.

However, keep in mind that the SelectTech 552 handle doesn’t adjust and is bulkier than the Select-A-Weight, which may be a downside for some.
