Will Smith is one of the most legendary actors of his generation.

He sculpted his body for numerous leading roles, including the Ali biopic in 2001 and I Am Legend in 2007.

The 53-year-old has kept himself in great shape throughout his career, but Monday provided him with a new experience.

Smith went to the Miami Dolphins training facility and worked with starting quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. He was reluctant to drink Kava, a soothing beverage consumed for centuries by Hawaiians and Polynesians, but Smith did it and went to work.

He performed several exercises, including soft tissue workouts, wall ball tosses (medicine ball), dumbbell workouts (bench), side planks, pull-ups, and reverse crunches with Dave Puloka. Puloka is the head strength and conditioning coach for the Dolphins.

After getting warmed up, Tagovailoa showed Smith the technique of throwing a football.

He tried to hit the dolphin logo on the side of the facility, but Smith missed it. Tagovailoa nailed the logo on his first attempt, and Smith was impressed. The accomplished actor got a custom Dolphins jersey, and he and Tagovailoa swapped jerseys after the workout. Both had a lot of fun getting to know each other more in the facility. Tagovailoa has the Dolphins trending toward the NFL playoffs in his second season as a starter.

Smith noticed how Tagovailoa’s workout regimen has him ripped. Miami fans hope the native Hawaiian continues his success.
